How To Block Numbers On Any Kind Of Mobile Phones

Mobile phones have made our lives easy but they have flip sides too. Pesky SMS, and unwanted calls are hassles that every mobile phone user has to face. There is nothing to worry about though, as telephony inventions have provided solutions for these issues. Unwanted calls can be blocked easily. One can resort to manual methods and through settings on the phone, this blocking procedure can be completed, but the options will vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. Again, methods like setting specific ringtones for these calls can be done. There are many softwares which can allow unwanted calls to be blocked, but that is dependent on the OS of the phone.    -------------------------------------------

It is usually possible to reject any unwelcome incoming calls and messages to your mobile phone. To do this consult the manual for your phone.

Some guidelines:
Nokia phones this is done through the Talk Groups option

• On a Samsung: Call log > Call Manager > Blacklist
• On a BlackBerry: Options > Security Options > Firewall
• On Windows phones:
• Use the call block option to block certain types of incoming and/or outgoing calls
• On the phone keypad, press Menu > Options > Services tab
• Press Call Blocking > Display Settings
• Select the type of incoming and/or outgoing calls to block
• You can also block most unwanted commercial SMS messages by replying with the word STOP
• This does not always work, however
• If you cannot block calls you can assigning a special ringtone to an unwelcome contact to help you identify and reject the call                                            --------------------------------------------
